My husband and I have begun a new weekend routine. Every Friday and Saturday night, we go to the gym and have a workout date and then go have dinner afterward. It’s been a great way to get in our exercise and spend time together.
Tonight we went a little later than usual so we did a quick workout. I decided to do a treadmill workout, which I hate but I need to mix things up with my cardio so that I work different groups of muscles. So I did a 25-minute workout.
Of the 25 minutes, I RAN for 5 minutes!
This is a big deal for me. Huge, even.
Six months ago, I would never have thought that I would be able to run at all, much less for 5 minutes. Now, it wasn’t for 5 continuous minutes, but that doesn’t matter to me.
I RAN!
I am so proud of me. I feel awesome.
Today’s eating was good, but carb heavy since I worked out. 84 grams protein, 68 carbs, 27 grams fat. Lots of leftovers.
Hey I noticed you don’t track down your calorie here. Is that on purpose or you don’t count calories at all?
I don’t make a note of my calories here because I never thought to do that. I do keep track of them though because I try to stay between 800-1000 daily, most days at or around 900.

NSV’s …. yeah, Baby! Things we do that we never thought we’d be able to!
These are the things I’m trying hard to keep in the forefront of my mind, especially this week since I gained. 😦
