Daily Bites: Monday and Tuesday

Second day back at school, and more sitting than I really wanted to do–it can’t be helped when all you do is have meetings All. Day. LONG.

Not much to write about today other than the back and hip pain I’m currently experiencing, but once I go to my six week check up tomorrow, I’ll write more about that.  For now…daily bites.

Today’s food choices:

Food choices, from upper left: multivitamin x2; Pei Wei lettuce wrap filling (I ate my portion out of a ramekin and boxed the rest); stewed chicken breast in marinara with a sprinkle of mozzarella; Boars Head Maple Glazed turkey breast; Isopure Zero Carb; mini ham, egg and cheese frittatas x2. I forgot to include a photo of the half container of unsweetened organic applesauce I ate. I was craving fiber and I thought it would be a good snack. It was!

Monday’s food choices:

Food choices, from upper left: multivitamin x2; mini ham, egg and cheese frittatas x2; turkey picadillo taco filling (no cheese, though); Sargento reduced fat cheddar cheese stick; Boars Head Maple Glazed turkey; bunless mini bacon cheeseburger; corned beef hash.

I will try to write more tomorrow, but my brain and body are spent right now.  Off to sleep with me for I have to be at school super early tomorrow….ugh!

  1. Hi – Lauren from the Thursday night support group here. Could not PM you on OH. I just wanted to let you know that at about 2 months I started having horrible hip pain in bed, so much so that we looked into new mattresses. I think it was big weight changes I was going through, since now, at 4 months things have gotten MUCH better and I can sleep again. I hope your pain resolves soon. BTW, your photos are GREAT! Good job!!

    • We have talked about buying a new mattress also! We probably will in the spring, as ours is nearly 10 years old and the springs are getting to be pretty uncomfortable.

At my checkup today I talked with the PA about this issue and she said that after a bit, the pain should subside and that it is from the weight loss.

      Thanks for the compliments! 🙂
